'S been a bit quiet recently. What is everybody reading? Has anybody got any good questions besides what are you reading?
Too bad we can't easily cross-post in lj. Or maybe that would result in too much duplication. At any rate I recommend
phoenixreads to everybody as where
phoenixfalls is posting their reviews now.
Has anyone read or in-a-notable-fashion not read The Bards of Bone Plain, by McKillip? For some reason, I have not read it immediately as usual.
What I am reading:
Moon Over Soho, by Ben Aaronovitch: Peter Grant #2. Jazz musicians are dying after sessions in statistically remarkable numbers. And there seems to be magic involved.
In Praise of Doubt: How to Have Convictions Without Becoming a Fanatic, by Peter Berger & Anton Zijderveld: reading philosophy seems strangely abstract after 11 years out in the real world. How odd.
And I'm waiting for Elizabeth Moon's Kings of the North that comes out on Tuesday . . .
