Apologies and stuff...
Yeah, I know, I've been really bad about keeping this thing up to date. The truth is I've mainly been involved with my book blog as of late (link is in the sidebar) and finishing up my Twilight read along blog (should be done reviewing Eclipse by June 30th. Man, I think this book is even more horrible then the ORIGNAL Twilight...). As for fanfiction...I'll be honest I haven't been writing at all due to just general lack of interest. I've mostly been working on details for my original fiction. But I have been itching to do a Merlin fic lately due to my utter love for the series and all the awesome fic in it that keeps inspiring me. I'm actually in the process of starting a Arthur/Merlin fic now...don't know when I'll have it up though. Sometime in July probably and I intend for it not to take forever like my others. As for my current Naruto fics...I have no clue if they'll ever be finished. I'm going to try and get them done this year at least, but I have no clue if that will happen ever. If you want more updates on my fandom ventures, what I'm reading or whatnot Fangirl's View is updated with daily book reviews and movie reviews. This will be updated randomly now. Though you've all probably figured it out by now. To those wondering about the fandoms I'm currently into now, here they are:
TV SHOWS:
Pretty Little Liars (this is actually a surprise to me because I kind of didn't like the books due to massive hate for the shallow characters and bad writing. But the show...is fun. It's silly soap opera with mystery added in but I like it ten times more then the book and way more then Gossip Girl)
Glee (This show is SO MUCH LOVE. I can't wait for next season when Kurt is evidently going to get a love interest! I hope the guy makes Finn get all big brother!protective over Kurt. If the writers do that, I will be majorly happy with them. I also want Mercedes to get a guy (not Puck though, that was just...wierd))
Merlin (like I said, expect fic for this soon)
Castle (I'm not doing fic for it though as the show is so awesome it doesn't need fic)
BOOKS:
Vampire Academy (I've only read the first two books in this series but God do I love it! Finally, a vampire series that doesn't make me yack with the romance)
Mortals Instruments (mostly love this for Magnus/Alec. May or may not do fic with them in it, will depend on my feelings on City of Glass which I'll be getting to when it comes out in paperback in August. Can't WAIT for Clockwork Angel either!)
Percy Jackson (greek myths! Grover! What's not to love? Kind of hated what they did with the movie though. Even with some of the hilarious lines in it)
Stephanie Plum series (Just read the first one this past month and now I'm kicking myself for never picking this up before hand)
Shiver (Sam>then Jacob in about...everything. Can't wait for Linger)
The Forest of Hands and Teeth (most awesome zombie book EVER, that includes being better then Pride and Prejudice and Zombies)
The Gilda Joyce series (If you loved Harriet the Spy as a kid, pick this series up. It's Harriet the Spy with paranormal activity added in and a great main character who's hysterical)
ANIME/MANGA:
Black Butler (Love the art, love the characters, love pretty much everything in this manga)
Tsubasa/xxxHolic (wow, I still can't get over that Tsubasa is...finished...my mind is still wrapping around what's going on in xxxHolic right now)
D.Gray-Man (Kanda. I will say no more. Except that yes, I'm a Kanda/Allen shipper)
MOVIES:
Just saw Toy Story 3 yesterday and I can happily say it was AWESOME. I am officially a Buzz/Jessie shipper just so you all know.
Also, forget Eclipse, I'm all about The Last Airbender which is coming out the day after Eclipse. But I will have to wait to see it as I'm going to be in Colorado visiting the family during the opening weekend.
