Review, Top Design, Project Runway...
So I rented Forbidden Kingdom tonight. I honestly wasn't expecting much beyond a few great action scenes and geek joy at the fun of a Jackie Chan, Jet Li team up. Now it's not the best movie in the world, there are few story-telling flaws as there always tends to be in action movies but it was still much better then I was expecting story-wise. The team up between the two was also everything you would expect: AWESOME. The fighting styles kind of reminded me of Crouching Tiger and all of that bit but it was still different and the special effects were great too. Also pretty scenery. So good for a rental, if you want to own it depends on your taste. If I see it cheap some day, I might get it. The soundtrack however, is GORGEOUS. Totally reccomend buying that.
On Project Runway I was SO happy that they finally booted Blaine. I still don't get how he lasted that long. Terri...I think she kind of got screwed over by Keith to be honest because he was taking his booting out on her but she also could have handled it a lot better and I didn't get her design at all so I'm not all that sorry to see her go. I personally was all for Leanne's design, but I liked Jerrel's so okay. My vote for the top three as of now is Karto, Leanne, and a tie between Joe and Kenley though Jerrel has a pretty decent shot at it too. But unless something dire happens in the next few episodes Leanne is definately going to Bryant Park.
As for Top Design...I think they should have given Jennifer another chance. She honestly DID try to work with her partner but he just went on his own merry way and was too arrogant to listen to her; I felt like saying HA when he got booted because he looked way too smug when she was. I personally don't get what problem the judges had with the other room. It was GORGEOUS I thought. No it wasn't perfect but still...I think they were being a bit picky. I thought it was much more planned out then that one green room with all the clutter in it. Whatever. I notice this season, they don't show the debate between the judges much. Maybe the Elle Decor lady got tired of looking like an idiot.
