Okay, I have never been an American Idol fan. Not only have I never agreed with the judges choices for the winner (except Rueban, he rocks) but I find the singers rather genaric in both looks and style and the ones that I don't find genaric don't win. But I have somewhat gotten into it this season because there are some rather interesting singers, even if I only watch the girls part because that's the only time I have free (the guys part was on during Gilmore Girls this week so I obviously didn't watch it). So far I'm rooting for Melinda Dolittle, Lakesha Jones, and Jordin along with Gina, Stephanie, and Sabrina coming in close as my top picks. I want Lakesha to win but looking back over the seasons at what's happened to the ACTUAL talented big/curvy girls (i.e. Jennifer Hudson who is WAY better then Carrie Underwood or whoever it is she lost too, I forget which season she was in)I'm realistic. Let's face it, when you let America pick, you're going to get the most popular one instead of the people who actually have talent. My guess is that it's going to go to the one who looks like Beyonce if it's a girl this year.
