Heroes...
Um...excuse me, you all did still not explain the whole save the cheerleader, save the world thing...unless Claire becomes important later on or something. May I also applaud the whole thing with Claire winning because of the unpopular kids? FINALLY a show realizes that popular kids are way outnumbered. This is why you be nice to everyone, not just popular people. Power to the geeks!
I'm also really glad that it wasn't Zack who died because when I saw that photo I had this brief fear that it was Zack, not Peter and I have slight fondness for Zack mostly because they don't portray him as the stereotypical gay guy and that they actually made him gay in the first place (very nervy of them to do for primetime TV, you have to admit). That, and Zack's cool. He just is. He's actually my second fav character after Hiro.
But still...many more questions and that ending...yeah, that just killed me right there. Now I have to wait a whole other week. I also have recently read complaints about the show going too slow and I admit, sometimes it is, but you have to look at it from the writers point of view. They have a full season to write here, not to mention if they get renewed for next season (here's to hoping they will), they will have to write plots for THAT season. So, yeah, it's going to be slow because if they reveal everything in the first few episodes then they won't have anything left to write and the show will become boring or they will have to resort to bad plot lines that make no sense (cough; Gilmore Girls, season 7; cough). I personally think the pacing of the show is great even if I want to speed up time like Hiro sometimes so I can get to next week already. I hope they release this series on DVD because I am so buying it if they do!
