LUKE SAID YES!!!!!!!!!!! Like there was ever a doubt.
The writing for this episode was top notch. I do believe the writers have gotten back on track to what the show used to be. My only problem is Rory's character. She's changed TOO much. I honestly don't like her all that much anymore, I feel like she's become a bit of a snob since starting at Yale. Hopefully Logan is right and she'll get bored and go back to school because this whole dropping out of Yale thing is just not her. I liked the judge in the episode, she was fair and honest, we need more real life judges like her in my opinion.
The best performances though were Kelly Bishop's and Edward Hermann's. I don't know why, but Emily and Richard just ROCKED in this ep. I particularly loved this lovely line:
EMILY: Richard, you can't kill him, we're in a courthouse! ;laughs, and laughs, and laughs;
Kirk was his usual funny self as was Taylor, Babbette, and Miss Patty.
;squee; I just love it when new seasons start.
Now for curiousities sake (and to drool over Jared) I honestly tried to sit down and watch Supernatural. I had to turn it off after the first fifteen minutes. I'm sorry, I'm just not into the whole horror genre thing. Particularly bloody and graphic horror genre things. So this show is totally not for me. Ah well...None of the new shows this season really are. I guess I'm just too picky.
