Title: The Cell Cycle Suju style
Rating: PG-13
Parings: Shichul (main), ninjas!
Summary/ Wat I want to say to explain why I wrote this: You don't have to know the details of the cell cycle but cookies to anyone who can make connections (or a fanfic request). This is the product of too much biology. Starts off at trainee times and yea till now-ish i guess.
G1 (interphase)
Heechul believed that love didn’t last forever. No, he knew that it didn’t last forever. So when he saw that boyish face that had yet to develop into the charismatic, mature Choi Shiwon of Super Junior, he tried not to fall for it. But it was inevitable really. The first confession from Christian boy complete with the flowers and singing in an empty dance room with about half of Super Junior and DBSK watching from the janitor’s closet (which was quite big); Youngwoon was smirking, Jungsoo smiling in a sickeningly sweet way, Jaejoong looking at Yunho wistfully, etc. From that first confession, he could see the dongsaengs getting ready to confess. It was the longest time he had ever dated someone. There were troubles of course: the whole misunderstanding about being Yunho’s girlfriend that the jerk somehow interoperated in the wrong way, going to China with skanky dancer Hyoyeon, jealously over the friendship with Hankyung (Shiwon’s hotter and sexier when he’s jealous), the prince complex that always had him helping damsels in distress. The news of Four Seasons almost threatened their relationship. There the yelling at Shiwon for being an idiot, not saying anything, which resulted in the boy saying an amazingly calm tone, “I’m happy for you hyung”. Heechul cried that night for the first time in their relationship with warm arms holding his shaking body. When the plans became void, it was amazing how happy he was. Shiwon looked at him with a sad look, but he kissed the sympathetic face and said “I can debut some other time”. Jungsoo’s room was locked and filled with muffled noises that night, but Heechul’s really wasn’t any different.
S (interphse):
Sometime between preparing for debut and debut, the real couples of Super Junior doubled in size. Even Kibum managed to find someone. The band’s princess was suspicious when Chagmin came over all the time. It was a weird thing that near-death experiences brought the members closer. Hankyung and Jomhyk visited Heechul regularly in the hospital, Sungmin and Ryeowook watched him struggled with tearful eyes. Everyone doted on Kyuhyun. We all realized each other’s importance even more. The night Donghae’s father died, it wasn’t just Eunhyuk who was there. Practically everyone was. Kangin came home later because of schedules with Fishie’s favorite food. It seemed like nothing could separate our ‘family’. The fanservice was all over the place, and one member wasn’t exactly always glued to his lover (except when there was a fight then what Heechul likes to call mild stalking is necessary).
G2 (interphae)
Super Junior’s popularity grew bigger and we met more people. The friends outside of the group and DBSK doubled. Even Kyuhyun and Ryeowook were making friends.
Prophase:
The nuclear envelope of Super Junior 13 had broken down. Now there was such a thing called subgroups. When Super Junior KRY was on , the couples were beginning to show eve more obviously in the dorms. Yewook was still inseparable, but Kyumin was gobbling most of their free time either being stuck at the lips or any other body parts. By the time Super Junior T started activated and DBSK were told that they would be in Japan for a long time, the couples were almost stuck together. Kibum was glued to the computer on his time off (he didn’t play games all the time for there was a microphone and webcam installed in it). Shiwon texted his princess on a regular basis. When he was home. Jungsoo and Youngwoon can’t seem to keep their clothes on or step out of their rooms for more than 1 hour. Eunhae antics grew less frequent, and the sloppy kisses in front of everyone increased. The invisible strings of that thing called contract were already extending towards us waiting to grab us tightly at the right time.
Metaphase:
Before they knew it, it was already firmly attached to them. Super Junior M was officially in preparation. They were lined up at the middle line just like SM wanted: knowing that there was nothing Shiwon could do and that he would grow more China but at the same time that selfishness nature led Heechul to lash out at his lover. Screaming and yelling one moment, crying for his Simba to remain faithiful the next. They still stayed together despite all that. Breaking up was out of the question because Heechul needed Shiwon more than he would like to admit. The other members weren’t really different. They were pulled back and forth to land eventually on that middle link of anxiety, insecurities, makeup sex, and desperate clinginess.
Anaphse:
Eeteuk’s power as a leader and Kyuhyun’s and Ryeowook’s purposeful mess-ups that prolonged their time together as a group could only go so far. The time left to spend together ended, and before Super Junior’s resident princess knew it they were in different countries. The strongs of SM were pulling them away physically and spreading the Super Junior name.
Telophase & Cytokinesis:
New names grew. Super Junior M is different from Super Junior, and shows and performances in Korea now read Super Junior Happy. Heechul wondered how he was till normal. The phone calls and surprise visits were still continuing. On their anniversary, Shiqon was in his bed when he woke up, arms wrapped possessively around his waist. On Super Junior’s 3 year anniversary party brief kisses were exchanged behind curtains and brief touches lingered before curtain call. When Super Junior M came to visit occasionally, Shiwon was making him breakfast with Hankyung’s help. At SM concerts blatant flirtations with others were a must to get a certain prince fired up. Even if the pair do end up being split again, frankly Heechul didn’t care. There had too strong of a bond and love and too many communication methods to fully break up.:
