Spring Cleaning?
So I spent a lot of today cleaning out my closet and a good chunk of my room, and there's good news and bad news. The good news is that a found a few pieces of jewelry that I hadn't seen in a worrisome amount of time. I can't say that any of it was exactly LOST, since the two necklaces were in boxes on the shelf under one of my jewelry boxes and the bracelet was on my desk, but I couldn't have told you where they were. I also found $73.50. The bad news is that I found two checks from UE, one for $80, dated 4-8-04, and the other for $311.15, dated 4-16-04. If I'm not mistaken, checks are void after 3 months. Damn. I hate to think that I did that much work for free, even if it was two years ago.
In other news, I think I'm going to take my cat Rascal (the three-legged one) to the vet tomorrow. She threw up on the carpet twice while I was in the basement on Friday, and while that isn't terribly unusual for cats (or not for mine, anyway), she's done it twice more since then. When I went downstairs earlier, she didn't come to me like she usually does, and she seemed pretty out of it. On Friday I figured she'd eaten a centipede or something that made her sick, but now I'm worried that it might be something serious.
