I'm not a card carrying Electrician or Air-conditioning engineer, but that's not duct tape, that's electrical tape.

whoa... they make silver electrical tape?! that's awesome!

I've seen the black and red and blue... but not the silver.

It's not silver, it's the flash shining off of black electrical tape.... which is showing another angle of a light source (ye ol' photoshoppe goodness).

For the record, I too was a bit troubled until I saw that it was shopped.

In my mispent youth, I've put a lot of tape on furry critters (don't ask) but rest assured, fur is different from hair, it's often got several layers and while some is pulled out, it's not nearly as much as you might think and you can't tell where it was afterwards.

Not that this beast had any tape on it.
