Things in my Tabs + Shopping
FL helped me buy some shelves today, after we had lunch and ice-cream with Chi. I've got another shelf to set up and then I'm going to re-arrange everything. I might need one more shelf, hrm. I also now have a cat carrier for patchy kitty. But once I have my shelves up and re-arranged, I can think about putting up the charms that my dad sent me.
Patchy kitty ran out earlier this evening in response to the presence of orange tabby (who has his own territory, so I don't think would have attacked her) but she came back. I'm trying to rehabilitate her into being an indoor cat once more, and she seems happy with the arrangement so far.
I discovered, or rather, the presence of a nearby recycling center is now within my periphery of comprehension. It has been in the parking lot in front of the Stater Bros that I go to ALL THE TIME and for some reason, I HAVE NEVER NOTICED IT. I feel very embarrassed about this. I'm going to go over tomorrow to inquire about just what they will take and what they won't.
I made no progress on my reading, but I have started writing a series for KKJ that I've been meaning to write for a while. It's nice to get back to feminist blogging after a long time.
I haven't finished reading these but am posting them anyway for reference:
