I do sorta love his weird scruffy cowboy roles, though I hope they actually give him one worthy of his awesomeness in Cowboys & Aliens!

I hope so too. We need to see him in a cowboy role on par with Olyphant's role in Deadwood. And in ten years when Justified is finished, I fully intend to write and produce that role 8D

I approve of this plan so much! XD Walton is way overdue for an awesome cowboy role (I do believe outlaw will always be his niche and I'm all for that -- outlaws are more fun! But I want a role on par with, idk, Russel Crowe's in 3:10 to Yuma).

Of course! The outlaw is always more fun to play and to write :D OMG I love 3:10 to Yuma!! Yes, he definitely needs to play such an intelligent and skillful outlaw.

I love it too! Need a rewatch. A few years ago Walton would've been great for a Charlie Princess kinda role (I'd say Charlie and Shane share a couple of traits), but these days he should totally tackle the heavier roles.
