So, I signed up for Yuletide to flex my writing muscles a little, and ended up writing The Stand fic for some peregrina person, which is... yeah, straight out of the Twist Machine, yet awesome.

I wrote Runnin' with the Devil -- it's Flagg/Lloyd, heavily Lloyd-centric;

I've watched Trigun! And Avatar, which is anime-esque. :D But yeah, I dunno, I have a hard time grasping the anime tropes, for one, and there are a lot of artistic sub-styles that bug me in it, like the ones with HUGE EYES, NO NOSES and EMOTICONS FOR FACES. ._.

I was traumatized by Pokemon as a child, okay. D: It usurped my favorite cartoons. Classics such as this one.

God, yeah, poor Frank. I think he was my favorite, too (him and possibly Stringer, heh, but for entirely different reasons), and I'm kinda glad I spoiled myself about what happens to him, because it was hard to take as it was. Hound face, so true. XD His last name actually kinda reminded me of the Russian word for hound (sobaka)...

I've seen the full Shield DVD set on Amazon UK relatively cheap (relatively for 7 seasons and compared to Amazon US, that is... it's still pretty moneyful x_x) -- am sorta considering asking for it as a bday present, just for the ~speshul features~. Obtaining the actual episodes hasn't been much of a problem. >__>

LOL! Indeed. And about the tropes, I'm just not that into them. They have a lot in common with the regular tropes in fandom that annoy me (maybe 'cause I've been guilty of some of them in the past ... *COUGHemasculatingoneofthemenCOUGH*)

See, I knew it wasn't just me! A couple of days after I'd finished watching s2, during which time I was thinking about Frank a lot, it finally hit me that it must, surely, be a deliberate joke, little hound, basically a diminutive for sobaka. Right? Of course, I've never acquired any evidence for this theory.
