Fic: Ten-by-Tens
I should be using this time wisely...but I'm not. Actually, I really do need time away from the WIP.
I found this by reading through yappichick's fics (I have an addiction) and since I have so many ideas for so many characters that I’ll never be able to write in full, I decided to give it a try: 10 fics in 10 words... x5. I cheated a little on T/P. I couldn’t help it!
Apparently I need to do more of these, because they were HARD! And super fun.
SPOILERS ALERT for the Avengers.
DESPICABLE ME
Angst: Only Margo was old enough to remember their real parents.
AU: Miss Hattie giggled as Vector got down on one knee.
Crack!Fic: Gru forgot to remove the stowaway minions from their backpacks.
Crossover: "Sir! The brainbots discovered an army of...tiny yellow people!"
Fluff: Pink wasn't his color, but he'd secretly begun preferring it.
Friendship: Mark forgot his lunch. Again. Muttering, Bob halfed his banana.
Humor: Edith giggled, peeking. She’d switched the salt and sugar…again.
Hurt/Comfort: Three pairs of eyes woke him. "We had another nightmare."
Romance: Another rose in hand, Agnes barely glimpsed the retreating overalls.
UST: Fluff 2: "Goodnight... Dad." Margo scampered away before he could react.
COULSON & FURY
Angst: They'd be sad, but his death couldn't have better meaning.
AU: Cybernetics transformed Fury's empty socket into an unmatched targeting system.
Crack!Fic: “Boss, Stark found your unicorn suit alterations. He’s coming.”
Crossover: X-ray vision and electric blue: Fury quite liked MadEye's eye.
Fluff: “Coulson! Get over here!” the Avengers beckoned him to their table.
Friendship: “I’ve got it; consider it done.” “I already do.”
Humor: "You're my right-hand man." "Or your left eye?" Fury glared.
Hurt/Comfort: Maria stood silent watch as Fury paid his respects.
Romance: “Ladies never were my thing… - You know what I mean!”
UST: Friendship 2: “Somewhere else you’d rather be, sir?” “Not a chance, Phil.”
TONY/PEPPER
Angst: "Pepper, I have some bad news. It's about Phil..."
AU: "Phil! Willing to head up security as my other best man?"
Crack!Fic: Someone -she didn’t know who- suggested a theme park to him.
Crossover: "Sir, he's delusional." "Carter?" "Building a particle accelerator within hours?"
Fluff: “Do we have to date? Can’t I just marry you?”
Friendship: “No. I’m not your bro.” “Then that means…”
Humor: “Tony, if I’m your bro and your ho, then no one comes before me.”
Hurt/Comfort: Exiting the suit, he immediately slipped into her embrace.
Romance: "JARVIS." His eyes didn't leave hers. "Redirect our calls for...ever."
UST: Pepper kissed him possessively when the bots suddenly froze mid-disassembly.
CLINT/NATASHA
Angst: Standing poised, Natasha gripped his hand as Coulson's casket descended.
AU: It was long past time they claimed Fury's other eye.
Crack!Fic: Every February 14, Natasha replaced his equipment with a cupid's.
Crossover: "Legolas is the best archer in Middle Earth." "Not anymore..."
Fluff: She depended on him more ways than she could count.
Friendship: "Take first watch with me?" he indicated the roof. "Sure."
Humor: They landed in a tangled heap. “Mmm,” he quipped. “Soft.”
Hurt/Comfort: "The past is the past, but we still have today."
Romance: "Do you still think love is for children?" he breathed.
UST: She quickly averted her eyes when he entered, half dressed.
CHIEF/CORTANA
Angst: Cortana AI 0452-9: MIA
AU: Princess Cortana slumbered, trapped and awaiting true love's kiss.
Crack!Fic: "Chief! Put that hookah down NOW!"
Crossover: Mastering the Zero System would be difficult, but not impossible.
Fluff: "Cortana, you're not expendable. You never were."
Friendship: “There!” NAV dropped, John’s AP-FS-DS ripped through the Elite’s maw.
Humor: “Chief, you do wear the pants in this relationship. Literally.”
Hurt/Comfort: “You never told me how much he hurt you.”
Romance: He couldn't imagine life without her; he'd rather die.
UST: Sometimes, he had the strangest thoughts about inserting her chip.
