Work Conference, Good News and a New Restaurant

Stuff:

Finally, my work conference is over. It started months ago (the planning that is) and its finally over. Last night I got home around 4PM and crashed. On Sunday I headed to Florham Park, NJ where the conference was being held. (this was of course after I picked up a co-worker from Newark airport...) Things went well into the night.

Monday: Work work work... the actual start of the conference. Lets just say it went well into the night.

Tuesday: More Conference... went well into the night. However, this night I was drinking so it went much better and a bit more easy into the night. Oh and I saw a guy getting head in the parking lot from another co-worker who is married and the story just goes on from there. Good times! AND NO, I didn't pay to watch.

Wednesday: Yet more conference..when is this thing going to end. I really spent most of my morning eyeballing the couple that was in the parking lot the night before but for some strange reason they weren't sitting as close to one another this go round. *LOL

Today: Work went well... caught up on a bunch of things and my boss told me to leave early. I don't know if its because we were both so worn out of if its because I could see two feet in front of me due to the lack of sleep I've had. Anyway, she told me to head out around 3PM. She of course left around Noon. Came home... Its been an oven in our house the entire day. BLECH! I hate the heat! I think I need a snow cone!

(See Velvet, that is what you are supposed to talk about when its the dead of summer)

The Good news: One of my dearest and closest friends in the entire world called me today and told me that her husband is really close to excepting a job on the East Coast. She lived on the East Coast her entire life... but then they moved to California a few years ago and visits haven't been the same. Even better news is that she may be moving to the Boston Area. OH WHAT FUN!!! Cross your fingers for me. I can't wait.

Tonight: Anthony and I found a new restuarant in Upper Montclair. I can't remember the name of the place but the food (Italian) was yummy. I had the veal and Anthony had the Shrimp and mussels. The only thing that creeped me out was that when the menu said "SHRIMP" they meant a GIANT SHRIMP with eyes and everything... CROSS MUCH??? The cute thing was that he wouldn't eat it unless I pealed all the nasty face parts off... Of course I have no problem pealing the thing, but I would have never eaten it to begin with.

Well, that is all for now. Stay cool everyone.
