He knew better now. She was having an affair. Screw the amnesia.

The slut.

Whore.

His cell rang while he was in the middle of thinking. Glancing down at the number he groaned. He was not going to answer it. He was waiting for his girlfriend so he could accuse her of sleeping around. She had to be. It explained everything.

Having no idea what her boyfriend was thinking, Savannah came in. Her mind was crowded with so much information and it was all so confusing.

Her face was slightly pale and her eyes were wide as came in.

She noticed his demeanor and stopped after she closed the door.

"Johnny? Baby?"

"Who is he?" he ground out, his jaw tight, the muscle there working hard with the clenching of his teeth.

Her eyes widened more and the sheen of tears shined there as dramatic music swelled.

"What? I'm not! There is no one else!"

"What else am I to believe? You give me no choice," he yelled, the close up showing the awesome fire in his eyes as they flashed at her.

"You're gone all hours of the night, come back not remembering where you are not to mention the phone calls and the handprints on your body. I will not be swayed by your tears. Not this time."

Savannah shook her head wildly.

"I would never cheat on you, Johnny! How could you even say that? I was attacked and I came to you for help!"

Dramatic, emotional music swelled as Savannah looked at Johnny, willing him to believe her.

"Or what? What will you do?"

Flashback to last night: he took her against the closet door, then again on the floor; one last time on the bed where he made her scream his name over and over and over again...

He shook his head, pinched the bridge of his nose with thumb and forefinger. "I will walk out that door and you will never see me again."

"I didn't do anything wrong," Savannah wailed, not sure why he was saying that. "I have never cheated on you!"

The music changed to a dangerous tone as Savannah's eyes widened in undisguised horror. Her blue eyes shined with betrayal as she stepped back.

"It was you..." She whispered. "It was you."

He took a step towards her.

"Yes, because cheating on you with you behind my back works so well!"

The music stops for two point five seconds.

Confused tension was thick in the air.

She shook her head as tears started sliding down her cheeks.

"I trusted you! You said you loved me... but you're one of them!"

Savannah made a break for the door.

"I trusted you!" he countered. "And you're nothing but a whore! Leave and don't come back! And Savannah," long dramatic pause, "if you're pregnant, it's not mine."

Savannah looked at him, her face white as death.

"If you had wanted to break up with me to fuck around, that's all you had to do! But no, you wanted me gone and my father's money." There was a burst of blaring music. "You didn't have to try to kill me. I would have done everything for you."

She looked at him once more, her eyes shining orbs of pain. "I loved you," she said brokenly.

With a choked sob she ran from the room as sad music played over her exit.
