YOKOZAWA NO BAAI MOVIE!!!!! (Plus V-Day Special)
OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG AUGUST 31 WAS THE DAY MARKED FOR THE RELEASE OF THE YOKOZAWA NO BAAI MOVIE TO BE RELEASED IN JAPAN. AND MY WONDERFUL, BEAUTIFUL FRIEND HUNTED THIS DOWN AND FOUND IT ON THE FIRST DAMN DAY AND WE GOT TO SEE IT RIGHT AWAY!!!!!
I literally shouted this as I typed it, that's how fucking happy I was.
SO, THOUGHTS ON THE TRIFECTA LOVE~ (There are a lot of thoughts, brace yourself)
In case you need a refresher, Yokozawa Takafumi is the Wild Bear of Marukawa Shoten and everyone hated his guts in the beginning of the series because he was all RAWR with Onodera (Ok well not everyone. I didn't and Azi didn't) and before the end of season two, Takano confronted Yokozawa and told him he was in love with Onodera, and any feelings Yokozawa had for him was hopeless. This sparked the 5 (SOON TO BE 6 THIS IS HOW POPULAR THEY ARE) Yokozawa Takafumi no Baai books that went through Yokozawa's grief/angst/grumpiness of getting over Takano and falling for the ever so snarky and oh so beautiful Kirishima.
Just go read the books I'm not going to bother explaining everything. You are wasting your life if you don't learn to appreciate them completely.

The start of this began similarly to the way it did in book 1, only they kind of rushed through the actual scene in terms of plot (aka Kirishima blackmailing Yokozawa) But given that the actual movie was HELLA FUCKING SHORT I won't spend this time being bitter.
Kirishima you were supposed to be in a towel still....why did you put on clothes??
Considering how Takano (in my opinion anyway) was really brutal in shutting down Yokozawa, I think Yokozawa really handled it with a certain grace. Sure he went and got drunk, but he didn't go attacking Onodera or forcing his way into Takano's life. He just pined, said "I'm not the one he loves. It fucking hurts but I still want to be his friend." and carried on with his life. One of the many things I love about this man.
Takano's the one speaking here but it is obvious to Kirishima now who Yokozawa was in love with. I really like how they did that scene.
Another thing I loved about this movie: Yokozawa's faces. Until now the SIH fandom has only seen him angry or frowny. Now with Kirishima we will see him lose that stoic expression <3

Yokozawa does not appreciate Kirishima paying for their meal. He is big boy and can take care of himself.

Is it just me or is he like really good looking in this scene even with his mouth hanging open like a dead fish??? I loved this part in the book. Ah Yokozawa you are in for many surprises with Kirishima.
