what if, when the red sox win the world series, the world slowly starts to crumble and everything falls apart? what if the reason for the red sox winning is that God took a lunch break and forgot to keep inflicting eternal disappointment and defeat on the team? if God really wanted the red sox to win, he would have had them win in a more dramatic fashion then a 4-0 blowout. he would have had them win with a game-winning home run in the bottom of the 9th in the 7th game of the world series for example. then again, if the red sox win then that could be God telling us that john kerry might win too, since he's from boston as well. agh, i have no idea what i'm talking about.
