Over 15 years AFTER the final FANTASM, I’m at a post event party at someone’s house and someone I’ve never met starts asking me about FANTASM, but the killer question? Would YOU bring it back?
Me - Me? Wait, you’ve got Frolicon, why bring back FANTASM?
Him - I think we need something a bit wilder and over the top.
Me - Dude, do you have any idea what we were up against back then? The shoe strings and prayers to the Elder Gods we did to pull off EVERYTHING we ever did?
Him - But would you?
Me - Yeah, IN A FUCKING HEARTBEAT!!!
Funny thing about coming back to life when life and everyone has given up on you, absolutely nothing is impossible.
It’s also difficult to explain everything that took place in those days, answer questions while maintaining some semblance of sanity to connect the dots and makes someone who has only heard about FANTASM what it really was and happened. So sometimes, just sometimes, to save from going through this process I simply say YES, it all happened, just like you heard it, and leave it at that.
