A/N: this really isn’t the point of the flash challenge, I know, but my photoshop skills are up to nothing and it’s raining outside, so I’m playing with body parts in the warm. Erm…
Willow’s eyes blink black with power. Xander’s hand grips hers, offering all his strength.
Tara’s heart pumps fast, ferocious beats. Anya focuses her mind on the scene as Willow’s throat bubbles with writhing serpents.
All ears are attuned to the approaching roar of demon bikers.
Beneath their feet, Buffy’s rotten skin starts to regenerate. Her liquefied liver and kidneys solidify. Those mysterious inner parts (spleen, gall bladder, pancreas) twitch into action.
Eyeballs, long eaten away, are filled once more with vitreous humour. Eyelids flicker. Withered lips plump.
Her pulse quickens. Blood flows. Neurons fire.
Picture this: the Slayer lives again.
