This week on Buffy we get the cheesiest of televised surgeries. It's stunningly silly. Fortunately, Spike gets off quite a few one-liners before possibly having his brains scrambled. "Spot of violence before bedtime", "knitting cunning sweater sets", and "enormous hall monitor" are all classic Spike. By the end of the episode, Spike will have a new wrinkle added to his "real sex organ". I'm talking about his brain, of course. We also have the newt vs. salamander debate (Willow & Giles), Riley's search for "aerodynamic vampires", Harmony's mission statement ("I'm a villain--hello!"), and Dawn's list of the CIA's assassination attempts on Castro. Everybody is in top form, witticism-wise. Over on Angel, even Wesley gets in a zinger, accusing Cordy of being in the "advanced bosoms" class. Tsk. Lilah gets in the best line of all, however, by expressing her "utmost confidence". Whoops. Here are a few quickie prompts for Out Of My Mind and Untouched:
“stethoscope” or “sweet dreams”
As always, you may create whatever you like with these. You may also use the
main episode prompts or do something - anything - else. Please remember to tag your work with the pertinent episode number/name. You have until Sunday, April 10th, plus all of next week, to post about either episode. Actually, next week is also our regularly scheduled catch-up week. You'll be able to post about any of the first four episodes from this season of either show! Next up are No Place Like Home and Dear Boy!
