Not just you! :) I'm really curious where they're going to take this and all the hintage that Dean is going to be her consort? significant other? erm... boy toy? ;p I'm kind of seeing her as an evil Gaia.

Well, I guess it would mean that we're the physical descendants of Adam and Eve, but the breath of life that was breathed into Adam and his descendants came from Amara.

That's another very interesting thought! I'm loving all this as if we don't get what we expect/want in the show (and even if we do!), I think it's going to create some amazing fanfics!

Oh, I like this, so when she has sucked in enough of her soul will she be capable of empathising or seeing beauty in the world and be able to be convinced to actually put it right? She should be equally powerful as the original god and Sam, Dean and Cas are on the saving people theme this season after all. If it all ended this season they could actually wrap it up somehow with the world to rights and Sam and Dean either going out saving it with/convincing Amara - or on the hood of the car drinking beer looking up to Amara's night sky. Unlikely I know, but lots to play with.

There certainly is a lot of potential in the storyline and I can't help wondering where they're gonna go with it.
