“Sure, Sammy, but you need to run faster. Dad’s only given us a count of 100 to hide.”
“Daddy hardly ever plays hide-and-seek with us!”
Reaching the car, Dean popped the trunk and lifted Sam into the space. “He’ll never think to look here,” he said as he climbed in and closed them both in the dark interior.
Sammy giggled. “I bet it takes Daddy ages to find us!”
Dean hoped not. The longer it took, the likelier Dad wouldn’t find them at all . . .
and the rawhead found them instead.
