They're driving me bananas!

Why is it that atheists think they're oh-so-smart, smarter than us believers,
and then they say: "I don't believe in God because the Bible has fallacies."

Cut in case you don't wanna read )

Alright... I'm neither an athiest nor someone who believes in the Bible's views on religion. So, that said- I've found with most athiests that if you take a combatitive stance, as you seem to be doing, they want to argue. It fuels them. They're complete psychic vampires (not all of them, before I get flamed for this, but a good portion). It **could be** that your attitude about the subject drawing this type of attention from them.

Just a thought from someone who has dealt with that type of person for many years and had to change her own attitude. ;o)

Yeah, that's true.
All I ever say is "believe what you want and shut the hell up."

I don't CARE who believes in what. Why do people care whether I do or not? Who cares????

One person was REALLY giving it to me good.
(I barely said anything).

I told her back: "Why do you care?"

3 days later, no comment back from her :)

People make me mad, but at least I can chuckle to myself later on and think, "neener, when we're on the Other Side together I am SO gonna "I told you so!" :)

I am SO looking forward to that :)

Or if they're dark spirits they'll just have to be born again while I can go and hang with Georgie Harrison :)

Oh goody, now I feel better :):):):):)

I loved that musical.
I LOOOOVE that musical.
And technically it's from the Torah - hoho!

I've read the Tanach (the whole thing)!
But! I didn't know what it was saying - I was learning how to read in Hebrew, ROFLMAO!

Oooooh nice!
I'm going to see The Lion King in Nov!
Okay - so that was a BIT off topic, but still.

I'M SO EXCITTTTTTED.

There's so many musicals I haven't seen that I'd love to see, but it's so hard to go :(
There's a place near me (15 min), but mostly they have like, stand up comedians, and I saw Riverdance there, and many operas. But the operas sell out in lilke, a minute.

And the other (good, safe) place to go is Pantages, but that's an hour away, and it's not so hard to get tix there (LK went on sale in June and we just got the tickets a week ago lol)..
and of course the lowest ticket price is 15 dollars (both places), and even in th elast row you can see EVERYGHING perfectly.

We have a 2 year old daughter, so it's hard to go, you know? But we're trying to go more often :)

You can't go wrong with Webber or Disney :)
That's what I always say.

Well, yeah, of course the Bible has fallacies. If you translate it into a billion and one languages, the meaning is going to get lost. it's like freetranslation.com. Also, in the Catholic church for example, a bunch of priests got together and decided which books of the Bible to keep and which to throw out, according to their own views and beliefs. And it's just been edited so much. I think God allowed this to happen so that there would be more than one path to him ( ... )

It's kind of ironic because not everyone who believes in God agrees with things in the Bible, while not everyone who is a non-believer is an athiest (seeing as atheists reject all sprituality, not just God). Not even everyone who likes Sylvia believes in a traditional god (myself included). There are so many different religious paths and it bothers me that people get stuck into boxes for their beliefs.
