Childhood friends Taecyeon and Nichkhun both understand this point but thing is... there isn't a way to stop their 'natural' feelings...

TBH I'm not good with angsty fics based on an anxiety theme o_o so it might turn into something else lol =_= I was planning on a one-shot but thing is... since angst is a genre I'm not familiar with - It will take a while to expand the plot... sorry!

Chapter 1: Falling for you since...
Thinking back... I think it began with those words when we were kids... the words that made me... fall in love with you...
"TAECYEON! NICHKHUN! YOU TWO ARE THE PERSON I WANT TO STAY WITH FOREVER!"
In response... my heart could only tell my senses to feel the same as it does... "I promise... to protect you forever..."
Throughout these years... my feelings have only grown from the best friend that will hold I dear forever to somebody I love... Thing is... I'm not the only one that feels that way... Nichkhun has been with us since childhood... so... it's not a rivalry about who confesses first but... a rivalry of whose heart will be broken away from this friendship.
This is how my... no 'Our' story began...
...
"Morning~" Junsu said as he ran past a boy and made his way into the school building.
"Yo~" Taecyeon raises his hand in response and walks towards the building as well.
"Same as always I see, it's just amazing how he's so oblivious to everything around him and lives in a pure white world." Nichkhun says as he joins Taecyeon in the stroll.
"That's just one of his good points... but remember this... we can't tell him... you know..." Before Taecyeon could finish, Nichkhun waves his hand and interrupts, "I know I know... we grew up together... you think I don't understand? Friendship to him... is both a good and bad point about him..."
"What took you two~ I was waiting with your shoes ready~" Junsu smiles as he leans forward and back with his hands behind him.
"Hehe sorry~ we were just talking about where to go after school." Nichkhun scratches the back of his head and blushes as his smile widens more and more.
"Hmm... I got an idea~ meet me at the gate after school~"
"uh... okay" Taecyeon looks up at Nichkhun with a confused look, hoping the other would give him an answer.
-Ding Dong Ding Dong-
"OH CRAP! WE'RE GOING TO BE LATE!!!" Junsu grabs Taecyeon and Nichkhun's hand and runs to the homeroom.
Meanwhile...
"I will take attendance now... oh wait... I know whose going to rush in... in 3...2..."
"SORRY!!!" The 3 said in unison.
"I've already prepared the dictionaries - you know what to do." The teacher scribbles on the chalkboard.
"yes sir..." The 3 balances the dictionaries on their heads and stood outside.
This is a typical routine for the three friends to start off the day... and so... school begins... with classes going by one after the other till...
Ding Dong Ding Dong
"Uh... finally... I thought my back is gonna stiffen up from sitting here all day..." Nichkhun says as he stretches, raising both arms in the air.
"Let's go and meet up with Junsu at the front gate... it would be convenient if he wasn't in the student council... then we could get off classes together." Taecyeon hands Nichkhun his book bag.
"You know Junsu... no matter what you say... he will be like, 'If I can help~ I will~'" Nichkhun imitates Junsu perfectly, causing laughter between the two friends.
"But that's what makes him so likable and popular amongst the teachers and student body." Taecyeon catches his breath and adds to the statement.
-At the gate-
"KHUN ~ TAEC!!! SORRYYYYYY!" Junsu rushed out of the school doors in a pink frilly dress accompanied with a long curly black wig, white heels, and white silk gloves.
Nichkhun and Taecyeon... DOUBLE SPIT TAKE ... as they spat milk over the other.
"-pant pant- we were -pant- making preparations for the school pageant -pant pant-"
"We can tell... but thing is..."
The two said in unison, "Are you joining too ._.?" Deep down inside... they were thinking the same thing... if Junsu actually joined...
"OH CRAP O_O I was in such a hurry that I forgot to switch back... I'll be right back..."
but... it was already...
"WHAT IS GOING ON!!! WHO IN THE WORLD LOCKED IT!!! I LEFT MY BAG IN THERE TOO... if only I had the master keys..." Junsu struggles to open the door a few times and evolves it into fist slams.
"Well... you know... that isn't a bad look on you..." Taecyeon said as he blushes and looks away, taking another sip of milk through the straw.
"y-y-yeah! I bet if you were to join the pageant, you would take first place just like that!" Nichkhun joins in the milk sipping.
"... r-really?" Junsu turns around with big sparkly eyes...
... Nichkhun and Taecyeon... DOUBLE SPIT TAKE - take two! but this time...
"OH SHIET SORRY!!!"
"... I'll give you two 3 seconds..." Junsu had his head down as he clenches his fists.
"... RUN!!!" Nichkhun and Taecyeon dashes towards the gate, knowing what will happen to them.
But...
"OUCH!" Junsu sat on the ground, 5 steps in front of where he stood earlier.
Nichkhun and Taecyeon run back to attend to the 'injured' friend. "You okay?"
"-PFFFTTTTT- HAH YOU TWO FELL FOR IT! THAT MAKES US EVEN!" Junsu spat milk at the two's faces and walks away.
"... We've been had..."
"You two coming or what?" Junsu calls out from the distant.
The two friends followed the route that Junsu was leading them to till...
"TA-DA! Here's where we will spend our after school hours!"
Nichkhun raises his left brow and questions their guide, "... but isn't this the pet shelter your sister owns...?"
"Yup! I called my sister already~ saying we got 2 volunteers~ Let's go!" Junsu enters with the two following behind him.
"JUNSU!!! O_O what in the world are you wearing... I understand you have a feminine side but... I didn't know it was this strong..."
"MINJI! WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!??!?! IT'S JUST A DRESS WE WERE MAKING FOR THE SCHOOL PAGEANT!"
"Oh really now? then why are those two perverts looking so suspicious?" Minji points at Nichkhun and Taecyeon.
"You know them =_= now stop playing or we will lose two volunteers."
"Yeah yeah..."
As soon as Junsu walks up the stairs...
"You two... here's the key to his room~ I know you want to look >:D" Minji pulls out a key as she whispers to the two.
Nichkhun and Taecyeon gulps in unison as sweat started to trail down.
"KIDDING! I know you two aren't that desperate haha~ let's get to work~ I don't have to show you around, not your first time being tricked by Junsu anyways." Minji shrugs and shakes her head.
"Like brother like sister..." Nichkhun sighs...
"Let's just get to work..."
