I look out my window, and I don't see tiny new leaves on the trees. I am thoroughly tired of winter. I feel like it has gone on forever.
I broke three metatarsals in my left foot two weeks ago yesterday (Wednesday, February 27). By this time last Thursday, I was surprised at how much healing had taken place. This Thursday? Not so much. I feel like it hasn't progressed at all in the last week. Well, we're talking bones knitting, and I know that just takes time. But these are little bones, and the fourth metatarsal is the only one of the three that has a break big enough for me to see on the x-ray. I hoped for a little more effort on their parts.
My sister, Debbie, came over again this week and spent two nights here. We watched...her choice...seven episodes of a new Fox series, The Passage. Frankly, not the kind of story I usually watch. Charming set of main characters, many gruesome scenes, a plot that requires a healthy dose of suspension of disbelief. On my own, I wouldn't continue watching but Debbie is interested. She doesn't have TV at home, so I'll wait until she comes over again to watch some more. In the meantime, I'm not recommending it: surprise, surprise!
My next post should be an updating of my movie and reading challenges. Since this is my first update in 2019...two and a half months into the year...it will be quite lengthy. Also, probably not tomorrow. FanSee
