Two of my friends at the Dunnett event were there for me when I needed it. I felt guilty about not realizing how sick Razor was. If I had, I would have taken him to the vet sooner and not let him suffer. One friend in particular pointed out that, since he ate heartily right to the end, it wasn't surprising that I took that as a good sign.

It was great to have sympathetic shoulders to cry on...not that I ever actually cry, of course. I was raised on the mantra, "Big girls don't cry," so I don't. FanSee

I'm so sorry, FanSee. RIP, Razor. I went through the same thing with an older cat and know how hard it is. Hoping Italy's beauty brings you some comfort.

Not only did Italy help but the friends I was with at my Dunnett get-together helped me sort out my feelings of guilt and sorrow in a very positive way. FanSee
