For reasons I don't quite understand, I'm not one to automatically turn on the TV after dinner every night just to see what is on. In this era of amazing TV, I'm sure I miss seeing a great many shows I'd love because of that. Instead I usually have one, two or three Must See shows a week that I not only want to see, but want to see when they air so that they don't get Spoiled.
I'd love to say that these shows are great works of drama and intellect...sometimes they are...more often, they are not. Many of them are (ahem!) reality shows like Project Runway. I loved Project Runway in its early seasons and looked forward to every episode. I loved Tim Gunn, I learned enough about fashion to understand how much I didn't know, and I even began to be able to distinguish between innovations that would last more than one season and gimmicks that would look dated in six months.
It's because of Project Runway that you are getting a newspaper story for the second day in a row. I don't plan to skate through my month of posting, I promise, but this one was too good to pass up:
Michelle Obama’s Dress May Have Looked Simple, but It Spoke Volumes. I think you'll enjoy it. FanSee
