June 21:
Bodleian and I were eager to be on the road this morning: we were driving the Great Ocean Road and determined to stop at all the high points. We had another beautiful day for it, too. In fact, I would recommend June as a fine month to tour Australia. I'd had a few uncomfortably chilly days, especially one rainy day in Melbourne, but nothing bad

I still feel guilty about the 'gift' I gave you -- Samantha says I always get sick when I travel. Sorry. FanSee

I remember you mentioned in your first report that you had problems with your equipment and that some of your pics were not so HQ... well I can tell you that the pics you posted here are stunning.
Also I can understand your fascination with sea shores, waves and so on. It's my personal fav as well :)
So great that you had such a lovely friend to join you and show you around in the last leg of your trip aaand that you got to meet my dear bigj52 (luv Judy, wish we could meet someday *sigh* )
Glad you made it home safe and sound.
Take care
*hugs*

I took so many pictures that I could omit the streaky ones and still have plenty to share. As for the ones I posted? Getting gorgeous pictures in Australia is a no brainer. Just point your camera in any direction and press the big silver button. FanSee

A popular opinion. severina2001 will love this particular post best.
It's too bad about the penguins. I wonder if they wouldn't mind you taking pictures as long as your flash was off?
The rules specifically said "no pictures even if your flash is turned off." I suspect they had a lot of people saying, very sincerely, "I thought it was turned off." To get a picture without a flash, you'd have had to know how to use F-stops and be able to control the speed of the aperture, etc., and most of the cameras I saw were point'n clicks. You'll just have to go see them yourself! FanSee
