[Keeping the UchihaChibiBrothers together as a packaged deal seems to ensure that Konoha keeps Sasuke, and keeps Sasuke safe, so Kakashi will gladly team with Itachi for now. It's not like he hasn't sort of teammed with Itachi to keep Sasuke safe before...and if keeping Itachi safe from Madara does, by extension, keep Sasuke safe...ok then.]

No, I doubt it will either, but then Madara doesn't seem to like to give up on anything...ever. So we'll ...do what we can to stay ahead of him for now, and see where that puts us.
