[Fitzpatrick, who will probably never learn his lesson about these rooms (otherwise what would be the point?), wanders in. He's puzzled by the abundance of couches, but eventually settles himself onto one.]

[Of course, imagine his bewilderment as the strains (in several senses) of "Rise, Rapture, Rise" reach his ears. The tune is carried by a voice - better suited to an alto part, most likely untrained, and definitely not meant to hit the highest notes at the end - entirely unfamiliar to the pianist.]
