Want to know what's better than finding 42,000 words of a cleverly crafted story, blending a rather well established universe such as Harry Potter and musicians from a popular band?
Finding out there's actually 98,000 words. :)
Even though I'm a total and complete mad fool for the books and I enjoy the movies for their own contributions, I've only read a small handful of Harry Potty fanfic because it just isn't a fandom I ever got in to. Bandom, on the other hand, has kept me amused and entertained for a good 5 or 6 yrs. While I've come across a couple of fics that put several band people in the HP universe, and they were fun & I enjoyed them, I can't recall reading one that blended the two separate fandoms as completely and thoroughly as you have here.
You've joined two very diverse worlds by mingling your characters side by side JK's much beloved original characters. By merging the two groups, you've created something completely unique for the reader to enjoy. Given how HP was brought to life by a truly brilliant and gifted story-teller, and how well known and popular the HP universe is to so many readers, that's real magic.
After I read your prologue yesterday to this years BBB & realized there was a story from 2010, I couldn't hit the link quick enough. I spent the whole day non-stop reading, pretty much like I did when the books came out and I wouldn't put those down, either. ;) I haven't left feedback for it yet, but I plan to because there are so many passages that were clever, smart, funny and made me look at some of the original characters in a slightly different way. Frankly, good writing should be acknowledged where and whenever possible, if only for the selfish reason of encouraging the writer to write more! :grin: And I do sincerely hope to see more from you in this vein, but please God, don't make us wait 5 yrs for it to all come out!

I love the HP and bandom verses so much separately that I was almost afraid of blending them, in case that retracted from their individual awesomeness :) so comments like yours make me incredibly happy. Really, I'm grinning so much right now. :)
