Nice, decent Jewish boy was totally blown out of the water last night.
By a long-distance possibility.
Who happens to know Dave.
Which makes him a good guy, by default.
And the thing of it is, with nice Jewish boy, it's really about two things: I'm lonley, and he's Jewish. With new boy, I don't feel quite so lonely, because if anything, we've got friendship potential, the him-not-being-Jewish thing isn't a big deal, because he's cool with it on my part, and we just click so well that I'm thinking it's not important, him being two states away, because he's almost worth the wait. I do not feel this way about Jewish boy, even though, as Ceci pointed out, he's only two hours and a bus ticket away.
The worst part is, I thought I was talking to Dave when I said all the things that he got all excited about. I didn't think it was someone I'd ever meet in person, someone who was just another friend of a friend who's name I don't even know.
And now he's not.
Hmm.
Maybe , when all those other guys wake up, he'll be the guy who already knew???
