Who: Kakashi, Jade, and Yuuko
What: Kakashi has gained a bit of control, wakes Jade up, and they talk
When: Wednsday
Where: Gym

Kakashi was still weak. Whatever had caused his eye to freak out like that had taken all his chakura, and more to gain back control. He would have loved to just lay his head down and sleep, but really didn't want to sleep the week off in the gym. So, he stood wobbly and slowly made his way out of the office and into the gym. Yuuko probably wanted to just teleport him, but at the moment, any kind of magic would just about make him sick to his stomach. They had just turned to exit the gym when Kakashi saw a figure laying just inside the door. He made his way ove as quickly as possible, giving Yuuko a quick pleading glance to give him a second, he put his hands together to free Jade from the illusions he had inadvertently put on her.

Jade gasped, jumping at the violent return to reality, as though woken from a nightmare. She stayed on the floor, one hand at her chest as she breathed hard. Once she seemed to start regaining her bearings, she looked over at the figure next to her.
"Kakashi...?"

"Are you okay?" He smiled faintly at her and offered her a hand.

Jade swallowed, not ready to try to sit up yet; she could feel her body shaking still.
"It was awful....the lighthouse was.....Pey'j...the kids...I couldn't find them anywhere..."

Kakashi let his hand fall to his side to steady himself, "I'm sorry. I didn't know others were involved.... if I had, I would have...." He trailed off, not wanting to mention a certain someone lurking around the corner.

"You did this?" Jade asked, still laying on the floor, breathing leveling out. Her tone was in no way accusative, merely surprised.

"Not on purpose of course." Kakashi frowned as he touched the headband that covered his eye, "An unforseen reaction, I suppose you could say."

...ooohkay now he lost her. Still, it was time to sit up at least. Sloooooowly, easy does it...Jade carefully pushed herself upright, feeling her arms shaking a little still...WOW that was an intense...whatever it was. Once she was upright she turned herself so she could lean on the wall for support, looking at Kakashi.

"Are you sure you're alright? Need some water or anything?" Kakashi sat down on the floor, not being able to say squatting.

"I'll be fine." she mumbled, running a hand through her hair.
"What was that, anyway? What happened exactly?"

"Well.." Kakashi ran his own hand through his hair and tried to find a way to explain it, "It was an illusion. I am able to cast them, but for somereason, they kind of got out of control."

"Heh...learn something new about you every day." was all Jade could say in response to that, after a pause.

Kakashi shrugged a bit, "Why were you here anyways? I didn't think you had a job at the high school..."

Jade shook her head. "No, it was just...." oh this was going to sound so stupid now... "I was looking for you. I wanted to talk to you about...what happened before."

Kakashi's eyebrows lifted a bit, "oh." He didn't know what to say to her. Should he appologize, but then it wasn't really either of their faults... but then he did try to go too far.... guess it wouldn't hurt too much. "I'm... sorry about all that. I really didn't mean to... well, not that I didn't think... or ...well..." shit now he was digging himself a hole, good one ninja.

Jade smiled a little sadly. "I'm more embarassed about my own behavior, honestly. I know you have Ms. Ichihara...I have more self-control than that, really."
She smirked a little, "I hope she didn't kill you too badly?"

Kakashi smiled a bit in memory, "I deserved it though. She's not angry at you though, at least i don't think she is. She was more angry at me, I think."

"That's good to hear at least." she replied, "It took me a long time to decide to talk to you...feels kind of like I'm walking on eggshells."
A part of her almost asked about him kissing her back, but she probably didn't want to know at this point. She hated getting in their way, even inadvertently.

"Ah, yes, it does seem strange. It's something I regret, but we can't avoid each other forever, no?"

"Yeah...'cause I mean....we are friends, right?"

Kakashi nodded, and then regretted that a bit. "Of course we're still friends."

Jade smiled again, a whole lot calmer than when she woke up.
"Are you ok?" she asked, noting his behavior.

"Ah, not really. But I'll survive." He teetered a little, even sitting on the floor as he was, "Even when I'm in control an illusions take a lot out of me."

"Anything I can do to help?" she asked, immediately questioning silently whether she should have asked that.

Kakashi smiled a bit, "no... I just need rest. And not here, that chair is not comfortable."

"Alright, if you're sure..."

Kakashi looked over at Jade, who seemed to be in a similar state of health, "Is there anything I can do to help? I might be able to call one of the dogs ot help you home or something."

"Ah, no, I'm fine...just a little shook up." then she thought of something that hadn't come up yet..."How long has it been anyway? My roommate's probably worried sick."

"Hm... I'm not sure, several hours at least.."

"It felt like just a few minutes." A few very unpleasent minutes.

"That's not unusual. I was once stuck in an illusion being tourtured and it seemed like I was there for about three years."

Jade blinked at that, taking a second to remember where he was coming from.
"I'm...sorry." There wasn't any other response to that.

"don't be. you weren't the one doing it to me." Kakashi smiled a bit and took a deep breath. "I'm sorry for what I did. You are a lovely girl, and ifI hadn't had met Yuuko, I may very much had been interested in you." wow, he said it. just hope it wasn't the wrong thing to say.

Jade suddenly blinked. And she blinked again. And she started to blush a little bit. Wow, a girl like her blushing...
"I...." she turned away a little, a slightly sheepish look on her face, "I see..."

"But.... I do love Yuuko, very much." Even Kakashi was blushing a bit now

"I know." she nodded, still not meeting his eyes.

Kakashi looked away at the wooden floor, he was getting weaker by the moment and really needed to get to bed. But at the same time, Jade needed to get home safely too, and if he couldn't take her, nor would he have the chakura to mantain a clone.... so he closed his eyes and summoned as much energy as he could, bit his thumb, and laid it on the floor. It was a medium sized dog that appeared. Not Bull, the biggest of his friends, but big enough Jade could lean on him. "He can help you home, and then I'll know you got there safely."

Jade was already trying to stand up. "You don't have to...I'll be ok..."
Of course ironically as she said this she staggered, having to fall lightly on the dog for support. Was it really only a few hours?

"We've been a bit worried about you, Kakashi," The dog spoke up as it moved to give Jade some support. "You've been in limbo for over a day, your time."

"Ah, longer than I thought... always is though." Kakashi laughed a bit.

Jade felt a little awkward leaning on the dog, worried she would crush him or something; she was more used to Woof than smaller dogs.
"Thanks." she said to the dog, and to Kakashi.

"Ah, it's no problem, don't worry about me. I could carry a car on my back if I needed to." he was exagerating a bit, but the idea was clear enough.

"Make sure she gets home safely, and then come tell me, I'll be at Yuuko's." Kakashi instructed the dog and then looked up at Jade. "Take care of yourself, and I'll see you later. Mabye we can have lunch or something."

Jade smiled, "I'd like that."

Kakashi watched as the dog helped her leave the gym and stayed there for a moment until she was gone.

Yuuko folded her arms and waited till he came back. It wasn't terrible to see, she knew what went on. But was glad that the interaction was, well, not what her jealous little part thought could have happened.

Kakashi leaned on the wall and attempted to stand up, but failed. He tried again, and failed... "guess I used up too much chakura there...." He mumbled to himself.

Yuuko gave up with her hands on her hips. And she walked over to him to lean down and prop him about her shoulder. "There you go."

"Thank you," he reaplied as she pulled him to his feet, and it wasn't for helping him up either.

"Of course... There was nothign wrong with what happened..." she said easily, starting to lead him back to her house.

He smiled at her, knowing just how jelous she coudl get, then leaned over and gave her a quick kiss. "When I recover... how about that valentines present I forgot to give you?"

"it sounds like a good plan," Yuuko said right back to him. And leaned in for another kiss
