I think I'll have to start a book of good things Brian says. He is brilliant.

He sent me 8 pages of incredible, deep, life-long-lesson-type quotable stuff. Who is this kid? It's amazing what we don't know about people until we take the time to listen, or just hear the things they are always saying--inside.
I hope this friendship lasts forever. I'm sad for him, I think he feels empty here. But he has so much inside of him. I hope that he can find something that fulfills him, satiates him, makes his time here worthwhile. Bright people are always the hardest to satisfy.
