Bucky hand etc

Winter soldier b roll https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eb3aQ5rtd7g
this thing is long, but watch the last minute of it. WOW. Chris Evans is a fine athlete!  I mean, you know by looking at him that he is buff, but that doesn't necessarily mean that he can spin and kick and fly through the air.  WOW.  Raw footage of Stan and Evans and it is SUPER IMPRESSIVE.  So the reason that Bucky looks so much taller in that fight is that Steve uses a very wide stance to launch his kicks and jumps from.  WOW.  It is a three-wow comment.

also a nice interview with Chris that I read yesterday.

I think I might buy the holster from Think Geek. It is the last piece I need.  I guess I'll see how my homemade one turns out first.  Still: covet.

Here is my Bucky Hand.  I am pretty excited.

And here is my Bucky hand gripping my Commando Dagger. (Not for use in actual cosplay!)
Where did I get that awesome dagger, you might ask? My dad gave it to me when I was a teenager.  I have always loved this sort of thing.  I keep it under my mattress (no lie, I always have).   My dad described the dagger to me as "surplus" but it has been sharpened, and the sheath it came with has seen wear, so I really don't know the provenance beyond that.  the sheath is stamped S - 3793.

I have two other knives from my dad.  My everyday pocketknife, the Victorinox Explorer.  It is the ideal everyday pocket knife, note the placement of the philips head, I have used it so many times.  and the can opener, which opens cans in a flash.  And the little scissors, which are surprisingly good.  My secondary knife is a standard Buck 110 Hunting Knife.  Sam Winchester can be seen fruitlessly trying to open a window with it, or burying John's dogtags.  I did skin a deer with it once.  Bucky: like the knife?? Idk!! :D  I once went into the White House with this knife.  It was back in 1990 when times were simpler. The Secret Service just told me not to brandish it, so I didn't. Can you imagine??? I don't really carry it anymore, it has a four inch blade, but I had lost my first swiss army knife and hadn't replaced it yet.  My current swiss army knife has a return/reward tag on it with my phone number -- I actually got it back once when a guy found it and his girlfriend made him call me.  Thanks girlfriend!!  :)
