Media Log, 500 Miles progress!

May 02, 2012 22:07

I have now walked more miles than I have seen episodes!  (that is a good thing!) By the end of April I had walked 84 miles.  That is a little behind schedule because April is so killer busy for me.  But it is still okay, and I got good walking in today and yesterday, so May is off to a good start.   I have not lost any weight (which would be a lovely bonus, should it occur) but I do feel a lot more fit.

[77-78 ] Supernatural:
7.19 Of Grave Importance (4-20-12)  Dir.  Tim Andrew; Wr. Brad Buckner and Eugenie Ross-Leming
7.20 The Girl with the Dungeons and Dragons Tattoo (4-27-12) Dir.  Johnny MacCarthy; Wr. Robbie Thompson
These two episodes were both fantastic.  I burst into tears twice during 7.20 because it was just too cool.  The Girl is one of the best ever!!!

[79-80 ] Community:
3. 14 "Pillows and Blankets" (4-5-12)
3.17 Basic Lupine Urology (4-26-12)
I am behind in my Community -- I missed two eps!  These two were both awesome though.

[81 ] Movie: The Hunger Games
This movie was so much better than I expected -- very hard hitting and political, which I didn't really expect.  Did it hit me harder because I am Appalachian?  I can vouch that squirrels are tasty.

[82] Doctor Who: The Two Doctors (1985), feat. Six and Peri, also Two and Jamie, vs. some Sontarans, "Androgums" (sadly racist), and the Third Zone.  We have watched the first two parts, and this one is pretty fun: Six is Rude and Two is Panicky.  Plus Jamie gets to wear about 20 pounds of plaidy.  He rocks.  I also like Peri and her clothes from 1985.  I used to wear a headband across my forehead just like that!

[83] Macbeth  (Great Performances 39.3, 10-6-2010) with Patrick Stewart.
OMG, this production is so chilling.  We haven't finished it yet because I have to keep taking breaks!!

I have had a good time in April writing for the Spring Doctor/Rose Fixathon and for the DWPronathon, so that has been good. I still want to write some sort of Labyrinth crossover, and maybe some Eleven/Rose for the fixathon.  The pronathon is so awesome, we should extend it for the Merry Month of M----.

I have two songs that are still in production.  It is so hard to make a great recording.

I went to the show of an awesome Indie Rocker Woman named Ms. Fridrich.  You can buy her CD from bandcamp.  I have been playing it over and over.  yay!

who, i will walk 500 miles!, 2012 media log, spn
