No more Father of the Pride?

I hear that Father of the Pride was cancelled already. They've made 13 episodes and will air the rest in time, but for now it's off the schedule. This really saddens me because it was one of the only shows I watch anymore on television. I'm so sick of hearing about those reality shows and fear factor crap. UGG what is wrong with society? That sucks. I like the show too. I heard it was only the 4th most watched show last time so they decide to cancel. Usually it was the one with most viewers.

I was pissed off that the new Tom Green Show was canceled too some time ago. They were making new episodes and showing reruns so unsurprisingly ratings dropped. Then the bosses decide to cancel.. Very stupid.

I thought it was quite good.. Better when I was drunk though. I thought the Mombasa episode was the lamest one with only few good jokes. Siegfried and Roy were quite great.

Hurray! Someone actually watched the show and figured out why it was cancelled. Yes, the execs look at the bottom line, but in this case, unfortunately, they were right. I though the voice acting was okay, and even the animation was descent, but what really killed the show, to me, was the writing. The show seemed to try too hard but still seemed to miss the "funny" part. Some of the later episodes made me chuckle, but for all its hoopla, it just wasn't that great of a show.

Add that fact to the huge price tag per episode and long time for show creation, and you have a recipe for cancellation. Sad but true.

Currently, the show to watch is Comedy Central's Drawn Together which pokes fun at reality shows by casting all of your standard cliche characters together in the same Big Brother ish environment. It's actually quite ammusing. Unfortunately, I'd still rather NBC not pulled Father of the Pride, that way I'd have two shows to watch instead of just one.
