Green Man Review

So So Fey, the anthology of queer faery fiction I edited for Haworth Press, has started earning reviews. The newest is from the Green Man Review. Seems like the stories challenged the review. To a good end, thankfully.

Interestingly, most of the stories Robert liked are different from those that Terri Windling highlighted (she also had kind words for the book). I suppose this is more evidence that certain stories resonate better with some readers and not with others. Robert also focused more on the issues of queer identity compared to Terri, who focused, I recall without surprise, on the folkloric aspects of the stories.

Amazon.com does not yet have a page for the book, but if anyone wishes to pre-order then go here to the publisher site which has the finalized cover and an excerpt from Terri's thoughts on the book.
