Ah, memories
I was telling a coworker that I had a blog back in 2000, and I don't think she believed me. So I went and looked for myself, just to make sure I didn't get the date wrong. And sure enough, I had a pita.com account in 2000, that's still on the net here and I posted for the first time 08/08/00. Man, did I like the Sentinel back then, or what? LOL
What's even funnier is that I was blogging about Spike and BtVS back then, when the show was airing. I was a fan of the show back then, don't get me wrong, but nothing like the obsessed freak I am now. But still, it's funny in retrospect. Like this entry where I'm apparently answering someone else's comments about Spike and Buffy and their soon to be utterly doomed relationship. And this one where I tried to explain myself again. LOL Don't remember why this was so important at the time. And I'm so not going to school to be a mortician. Good god, what was I thinking. :D
The way I remember blogging back then, it was kind of convoluted because there was not comment system yet. So you had to read all the blogs I read and linked to on the sidebar, to really understand the conversation that was going on. It made sense at the time, but seems weird now. And lookie there. Shrift and Witchqueen are on my sidebar and are still my friends over here on LJ, even if we don't run in the same fannish circles anymore. Damn, I remember when Shrift wasn't old enough to join a slash list I ran for Farscape. :D At least I think that was her. My brain, 'tis swiss cheese somedays.
I feel old now. I need to take my old ass to bed, I suppose.
