Songs by Shel Silverstein
I head on the radio yesterday that Shel Silverstein wrote 'A Boy Named Sue' (from Johnny Cash's 'At San Quentin'. Checking the Wikipedia article for Shel Silverstein today, I find that he also wrote '25 Minutes to Go' (from Johnny Cash's 'At Folsom Prison', but I first head it sung by Diamanda Galas on 'Malediction and Prayer') and 'The Ballad of Lucy Jordan' (one of my favorite songs on Marianne Faithfull's 'Broken English').
