I'm alive!
I went and saw the new Sherlock Holmes movie with Amberly yesterday. We saw it in d-box. It's safe to say I don't think I can see another movie in theatres without seeing it in d-box. It was... There are no words to describe how awesome it made the experience. The seats jerked and vibrated and swayed with the movie's movement and it was just... Wow.
In other news, the only thing on my Christmas list is a sewing machine-- a cheap one, bc I recognize that sewing machines can get really expensive. And I've been doing research on costumes. I want to make a pureblood wizard's costume, based off of J K Rowling's notes on pureblood style.
In other other news, my nephew turned six today! I was a bit bummed that I missed his birthday celebrations-- my manager couldn't give me the day off-- but he really enjoyed the present I got him (comic books, Bc my sister is raising a geek XD)
Only eight more days until Christmas! I'm working six of them. Wish me luck? Though the worst of it is over-- people are getting nicer in their desperate attempts to Be Done with Christmas. We're getting more polite people than we are "I'm gunna throw a temper tantrum!" ones-- which is reversed to how it was in November. Thank goodness! It's disheartening to watch an adult throw a screaming and violent fit because I literally cannot take a $2 coupon without getting into a lot of trouble
