Shaving, so I can, in good conscience, go to Adventure Island and not feel like a lumberjacking cave woman- ... fml
Little Brother spent the night over at his significant other's last night, but not before he offered to let me take over his room downstairs for the night. As the downstairs AC still worked, and as he reassured me that his bedding WAS clean and had been recently flipped, and as it was 85 degrees in my bedroom, I took him up on his offer. Granted, I still used my own pillows and slept in a sleeping back on top of his sheets (can't be too careful D:).
And had the WONDERFUL wake-up call at 8-fucking-30 in the morning when Little Brother's dog came BARRELING into the room. I could see Bandit's thought process-- said in Dug's voice from the movie "Up,": "WAKING UP MY BO... Oh. That's right. My boy is not here. But wait! Somebody ELSE is in his bed! It's KIM! She is NOT my boy, but I can still reach her face! *jumps on the bed, BARRELING into Kim, and attacks her face with his tongue* SURELY she must be as happy to see me as I am to see her!!!!!!!!111"
(What is it? "I slept under your porch because I love you"?)
Also: FINISHED!!!!!!!! my LBB piece! HUZZAH! Need to send it off to my beta to get the ball rolling. It's only about 4000 words, but I went into it with the understanding that, instead of wanting to write something EPIC, I wanted to write a particular scene. And I illustrated it and everything-- including making a crayon drawing with my toes, bwahahahhaha
Okay. Okay. Off to go shave (bleck. Thank God for electric razors. Nobody'll be getting close enough to tell that my non-lumberjack cavewoman legs aren't perfectly smooth)
(BTW: Have I shared my new tag with y'all? Every time I tried to update with it, LJ shat out on me. But a new tag for my new adventures with my new cat, whose name is Inigo Montoya)
