The people at work always seem so surprised when they see me in my normal clothes, as if they never expected me to know how to dress well--- "That shirt is a really good color on you!" Why thank you! I picked it out myself XD

I don't blame them, though. My work clothes- khakis and a white shirt- are not cute, especially when they're on -me-. My actual wardrobe, however, is.

Got some velcro for my monster!Kindle sleeve. Also showed him off to the girls at work. Once again, they were very surprised at how well the sleeve turned out. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt on this one: a lot of people my age don't do arts and crafts, or they don't do them well. I have an eye for detail, I love arts and crafts, and I'm really, really good about thinking of new ideas/techniques/easier ways to complete artsy things. A lot of good stuff comes from this (penguin ninja/pirate earrings-slash-dinosaur earrings-slash-cross stitch-slash-keychains)

It also helps that I've got the perpetual maturity of a seven-year-old.

BTW: I bought a pair of boots from Torrid. I will not say what I spent on them. And I had to buy them online because the stores don't carry my size (tiny feet suck). I'm waiting for the email confirmation that they got my order. And I pray to god they'll fit-- I normally wear a 6.5 wide in heels and Torrid starts at 7. I also won't be able to walk in them because they're stilettos and not the wedges I wanted. I'll just sit around and look pretty <3
