So, my politician made it to the ballot! He'll be running for US Senate this November. It's sorta left my internship up in the air, though. I'm not quite sure what I do now, and NOW I've got all this empty time. The main reason I got the spot was to fill up the blank of time so I wouldn't have to commit to a part-time job just yet. Because I refuse to justify having five days a week off. We'll see where it goes from here....
Finding morons people to rip apart respond to on my Women's Studies course discussion board is increasingly difficult. Partly because the topics are getting easier to write on, versus serious thought-invoking topics (which are always a goldmine for idiots).
My Aunt Mary and Uncle Dick visited yesterday. We had fun ;) I introduced them to Beatles Rockband and we all played for like... two hours. We also watched a few movies-- Where the Wild Things Are (awesome!), Princess and the Frog (meh. It was okay. It moved a little too quickly for me... or maybe Pixar has destroyed all other new Disney movies for me), and Waiting For Guffman (we own it. It's a Christopher Guest mockumentary. I prefer A Mighty Wind ;))
Also, Dad bought six flats of strawberries. SIX. That's like... 72 little green baskets of strawberries.
And tonight, I dye eggs. I'm trying to think of an egg-dying theme. One shall come to me...
Ooooh, and I started reading American Gods. Can I say... I adore Neil Gaiman? I wish I could give him a hug and tell him I think he's awesome. I'm FB-fans with him and he's so down-to-earth that it's absolutely brilliant
