I made earrings!
To commemorate a week of hell (I FINALLY GOT ALL MY SCHOOLWORK DONE!) I made earrings.
Actually, to commemorate the fact that a 750-word essay on an 15-page PDF file ended up 1,800 words long-- WITH images--, I needed some way to relax. So I broke out the clay and the metal earring hooks and copper wire and the sculpting tools.
I am now the proud owner of pink dinosaur earrings (hot pink, with a green and purple tummy and yellow spots). I am also the proud owner of penguins-with-a-flamethrower earrings. As in, they're holding guns that are spurting clay flames.
Sadly, the earring hooks are really thick. I think they're 16 gauge and I haven't worn earrings in a while, so I couldn't even get the hooks into my left ear. Which is now angry and bleeding, but hey! Little penguins with little flamethrowers and little pink dinosaurs that match Amberly's little purple dinosaurs!

I got a text message from Tim tonight at like... 9:30
"Can you pleasepleaseplease come in tomorrow for data entry?"
He's been freaking out and working non-stop for the past ever. The deadline is Monday and I know he's going crazy trying to get stuff done, so I told him okay. And my response was "Thank you thank you!"
I'm glad I said yes. Tim is usually short-worded, so for him to write that much AND repeat it means he's losing it
EDIT: GUESS WHO GOT HER EMAIL THAT HER GRADUATION HAS BEEN APPROVED!!! This is both incredibly exciting AND terrifying!
