slow day

Today... was slow. SLOW. I got an okay nap, too, but I needed a BETTER one. My beta for the HBB (who is AMAZING) got back to me with the last part of my story. I wasn't expecting it, because time is running super short and I know she has her own stuff to do, so... if anything, my respect and absolute admiration for her has grown even more. Especially considering the third part of the story was the worst written AND the longest. I cannot reiterate enough of how absolutely GRATEFUL I am towards her. The closer it gets to the story deadline (Sunday), the more uptight I become. There are a lot of amazing authors submitting works, and I keep rereading MY story and thinking, "Ohmigod it doesn't flow smoothely, it's absolute SHIT, I hate my writing style, why did I sign up????"

When the story is put up on September 19th, I'll likely post links to all my friends and encourage them to encourage me XD
