July Centerfold of the Month
Wow, we haven't done one of these in a LONG time.
But well, I'm picking it this time..and not surprisingly its this guy.

Why did we pick him?
Really? Look at that smile! Okay fine, if that's not good enough for you. The man starred in one of the best sci-fi films of the last ten years, a little movie called District 9. D9 (as we fans call it) was for its majority IMPROVISED. This only adds to Sharlto's awesome cred as he hadn't acted in a major film before.
WORSHIP THE SHADES!
He's from South Africa and has over his career both written, produced, directed, and now starred in films. He's also been involved in "risque school plays" (footage now please!)
He was actually just helping out with test shots when Peter Jackson said "He's the guy." And history was made.
Sharlto is one of those naturals when it comes to the movies. He's smart and funny, and like Robert Rodriguez or Peter Jackson has the ability to do nearly everything.
HERE WE HAVE A FANGIRL SANDWICH. JUST NEED A FANGIRL.
He's also a Fanboy himself and got to do some squeeing when he donned the baseball cap and leather jacket of the crazy pilot Murdock in the A-Team movie this summer. Of course Sharlto knocked it out of the park and stole every scene he was in.
YES THAT'S HIM HOLDING HIS BA CAKE ON THE LEFT. OMG THE CUTE!
Sharlto needs to do more stuff so we can watch him do more stuff. It's that simple. The rumor was on a recent sci-fi film called "I am Number Four" Mr. Copley wasn't happy with the new alien he was playing. He and director DJ Caruso disagreed on his look for the movie (Sharlto wanted his character to have a funny nose and strange ears.) Sharlto stuck to his guns and when the director wouldn't let him do it, he quit. Timothy Olyphant is now doing the role.
But don't despair Sharltolites, he's got a new flick he produced/wrote/and directed coming out starring another Fangirl fave, Rutger Hauer. Check this creepy out (ooh, he likes supernatural things...I think its love)
So in closing....Sharlto Copley, do more stuff so we can watch you be your awesome self. You personify that Fangirl ideal in a man: brains, talent, humor, and you top it all off by being really pretty. Hence you are our centerfold of the month.
