So, it's almost Christmas. I know,I know; it's annoying to see Christmas stuff up before Thanksgiving. Lets be real though, if you are a computer bound person such as myself, you are much more likely to order presents online than actually walk into a store. Remember last year how that didn't really work because normal cheap shipping has a 4-6 week shipping period? Yeah. Well, don't do that again!

Here's some of my cool finds online:

Think Geek is an obvious choice, with a large array of diversions. Currently they're holding some clearance sales, introducing new products, and have "Geek Points". My pick is these kawaii plush sushis:

Thanks to fellow Fangirl Nic Campos, I found Quantum Mechanix, a great hub for Stargate, BSG, Firefly and soon new Star Trek gear. From the BSG fighters, to the adorable Big Damn Heroes Firefly Figures (see Jayne below), they have really high quality gear. Their shipping does not take long, although customizable items take 4-6 weeks for delivery. They send everything UPS, so shipping is a little steep... I recommend combining your orders to take the edge off.

Don't forget Etsy for remarkable one of a kind gifts. You also support an independent artist or craftsperson when you purchase from Etsy. My pick this seas are these gorgeous Shakespeare leather bound journals by immortallongings:

For other Japan-philes, animae geeks, and people who love cute and tasty, J-Box is a mecca. From the bizarre (keychains made from octupus balls), to the adorable (Totoro and Studio Ghibli gear), to the questionable (Hello Kitty "shoulder massagers"... yeah right... you don't have to be Freud to realize they are not designed for shoulders) this site is just a lot of fun to browse. This adorable Makkuro Kurosuke soot sprite from Spirited away is a great stocking stuffer. I've always gotten things in a timely manner from J-box.

Don't forget Amazon, where you can read reviews, post reviews, and find all sorts of cool stuff. Right now, they're the best place to find RPG books, such as Pathfinder. Pathfinder is basically 3.75 DnD... it's everything we hoped 4th ed. would be and wasn't. If you know a gamer guy, he will get a kick out of these:

Finally Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab has scents for guys and girls alike. They have "imps" which are smaller size testers you can purchase, as well as selections where the profits will go to benefit CBLDF... and who doesn't love that? Check out their Gaiman, Alice in Wonderland, and Lovecraft sections.

Order now... and relax until 12/25 with some egg nog... heavy on the nog.
