Fangirl Shopping Tip!! Big Lots does it again!
By now you who read our wittle mag know my love for Big Lots. You can find things there you'd never think would be possible for prices that are nigh on godlike.
Once again this is the case with their DVD selection.
Back in the 80's cable was the stuff of legend and horror anthologies on TV were actually GOOD. One of these shows was The Hitchhiker and it had a cast list that reads like Quentin Tarantino's wet dream. Michael Madsen, Bill Paxton, Willem Defoe, James Remar, Fred Ward, Gene Simmons just to name a few.
Imagine my surprise when I find Volume 1 in the 3 dollar rack. Imagine even more of my surprise when I find Volumes 2 and 3 a week later. That's right...each volume is a 2 disc set with 10 episodes each. A best of the series collection, these are pretty sweet finds (and so is series host Page Fletcher...woof)
Head over to your local BL's and see if you can dig these guys up. For 9 bucks its lots of good 80's entertainment.
