X-Men!!! :D
My apologies, I've been on my personal livejournals (here and writerfangirl) less than I am usually on. Been on Twitter less too. And why? Because X-Men: First Class has taken over my life for the moment. It's been a nice way to spend the weekend before my birthday and the week after. I think this will continue for a while. I've been posting on tumblr and mostly been writing hidden_raven at sixwordstories.

I really didn't expect to like it, but surprise! It is my favorite X-movie! I like that it basically is a movie involving people who either have few credits or aren't that well known yet. I mean, the biggest name in this movie is James McAvoy. I'm very excited to see how it will help Michael Fassbender's career. He's so dang talented!
I went in to see the Charles and Erik relationship and my expectations were far exceeded. It's also made me a fan of Fassbender. I've been having a lot of fun tracking down the McFassy/McBender/Fassavoy stuff on Tumblr. Because there's ALOT. It seems to be the bromance of the moment. I cannot complain. :D
I just re-read my X3 review and I think it's funny how my concern is the lack of character-centric stuff and that's all there is in XMFC. So woo. I'm glad the new screenwriters got it!
I am also a little amused by this:
"And heh, Xavier got himself on Muir. Yay! Just in somebody else's body. So very kinky. If he can't have Mags, I do tend to ship Xavier/Moira."
Even then, I was a Charles/Erik shipper. No need for a Charles/Moira ship when Erik's there. Hahaha. I love the Old Friends. :D
